Instructor: Nancy Jerry – I train and compete with my Golden Retrievers, and we’re a few trials away from an AKC Rally Obedience Championship title. We’ve also earned titles in Obedience, CGC, and Tricks. This is my second year teaching with the kennel club, and as a full-time teacher I value clear instruction, patience, and progress that feels doable. I believe a thinking, active dog is a happy dog and that everyday life is training, whether we mean it to be or not. I’m certified to teach AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy classes and I’m an AKC evaluator for CGC, Tricks, and Virtual Home Manners.
Class Description: Rally is a fun, teamwork-focused activity where you and your dog follow a course together, stopping at numbered stations to perform quick obedience skills. You’ll practice sits, downs, short stays, fronts, turns, and finishes while building focus, confidence, and a stronger working bond. This class walks you through each skill in a simple, supportive way and includes weekly practice on real Rally-style courses.
