   The MPMKC CGC teams have been invited by the Veterans Memorial Library to participate in an event they are sponsoring for the MI Gift of Life organization while making (simple, fleece) pet toys that Saturday in downtown Mt. Pleasant. The local business, For Arts Sake is putting on “Market for the Arts: Kids Market” downtown

This class will be geared toward the agility competitor competing at the novice and open levels. This class will be held outdoors in an 80’X140’ fenced in yard.

This class will introduce the dog and handler to the sport of agility. Obstacles introduced will include jumps, tunnels, table, wobble board, baby teeter, and weaves as well as sit/stay and short sequencing. This class will be held indoors in a 40’X50’ turf room.

Learn how to communicate more effectively with your dog while teaching them basic life skills. We will address: Equipment choices, Attention work, Loose leash walking, Sit, Down, Stay, and Recall. This is a fun, no pressure class tailored to you and your dog's needs.

Those wishing to give their dogs extra training on good behavior at home or when away from home should sign up for this class.  Also, training for the CGC is the first step toward earning a therapy certification if that is something you desire. Your dog must be under control and demonstrate that she/he walks well on a leash in order to qualify for this class
