History of the Mt. Pleasant Michigan Kennel Club
Our club was formed in 1977 by a group of people in the area who owned, trained, and showed their own dogs. They felt that there was a need in Mt. Pleasant for an educational group based on our canine friends.
The Mt. Pleasant MI Kennel Club was sanctioned by the American Kennel Club in 1984.
Objectives
- To further the advancement of all dogs.
- To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of dogs, and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials.
- To conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows and obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
Mt. Pleasant MI Kennel Club meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
No meetings in July, August or December.
